Job Requirements: We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to work together with our team to develop interactive web-based media learning solutions. Working with the Project Manager, the Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the successful development of these solutions, working with cross-functional, multi-project team resources to ensure solutions are delivered on-time and on budget according to defined scope, timeline and cost parameters. The Project Coordinator monitors the plans, schedules and controls of all project activities to ensure the team is driving toward these objectives, applying their own technical, theoretical and coordination skills towards achieving project requirements, while building positive professional relationships with employees, clients and associates. Responsibilities: • Provide and promote high standards of professionalism, integrity and leadership throughout the life of projects, appropriately representing business philosophies, protocols and standards • Assist with the development, maintenance and execution of project plans for major projects according to established procedures and expectations • With the guidance of the Project Manager, develop, maintain and execute the project plans for smaller projects or portions of larger projects. • Work with the Project Manager to create and maintain a project schedule, which defines activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration and associated resource requirements • Promote and monitor the implementation of high quality standards on all project deliverables • Work with appropriate resources to meet project needs • Monitor client and internal team performance and dynamics & assist with strategies to manage as appropriate • Identify, analyze, mitigate and communicate project risks • Work with the Project Manager to identify business opportunities with new and existing clients • Promote the professional development of project and peer team members • Identify and develop process & program improvements • Involvement in new business proposals where appropriate Required Skills: • Minimum 2 year's experience as a Coordinator on software or interactive web development projects • Demonstrated knowledge of project coordination principles, methods and techniques • Demonstrated experience working on multiple simultaneous projects involving cross-functional product teams • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated experience working with internal teams involved in multiple activities • Ability to strategically and tactically organize & structure activities • Demonstrated skills and experience in coordination, administration, negotiating with team members on project tasks • Demonstrated aptitude to grasp a general knowledge of multiple disciplines and technologies • Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated ability to pay consistent attention to detail Desired Skills: • Post-secondary education in business or technical field • CAPM Certification would be an asset Contact Information: If you are interested in this position, please send an email with your qualifications to info@dlc-inc.com | |||
