Description
The Content Manager will be responsible for managing the content in the News and Finance sections. The responsibility of overall channel management is shared with a Product Manager, who will focus on revenue, partner business relationships, and overall channel strategy. The content manager is responsible for building an audience in their channel by integrating high quality content and managing its day to day operations. The success of this role is measured in part by the channel’s metrics in viewership and revenue. We are looking for a person that is passionate about the type of content found in the News and Finance channel. - 5 years experience in Internet Media - 3 years experience collaborating with the industry - 3 years experience with Photoshop and HTML. - Excellent communication skills both verbal and in written - Content editorial skills on style, grammar, and writing effectively for the web - Knowledge of Content Management System (CMS) - Knowledge of and ability to apply usability best practices for the Web. - Graphic design an asset - Team work, initiative, dynamic, creative, autonomous, ability to work with tight deadlines and under pressure.
