Description
Front End Developer If you are a Front End Developer with 4+ years of experience developing rich interactive applications who is passionate about building user friendly interfaces from diverse creative that no browser can trip - read on! What are the requirements: • Has 4+ years of demonstrated development experience with hand-coding standards compliant XHTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, AJAX and ActionScript (AS2, AS3) • Intimate knowledge of browser compatibility and quirks • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, MooTools and/or Prototype/script.aculo.us • Experience with building RIA's (rich internet applications) • Experience creating standards compliant HTML/CSS emails • Experience with user interface design and usability • Is proficient in cross-browser/cross-platform issues and web standards • Works well under pressure and deadlines • Strong attention to detail • Can think through a problem and assess possible solutions - process-driven • Has proven ability to build trust and confidence with people at all organizational levels • Demonstrated ability to learn new technical applications and approaches • Post-secondary degree/diploma in computing sciences/computing or equal work experience technologies or related experience/education • Enjoys and is successful in a team environment Additional Technical Skills: • Experience with Flash video is an asset • Experience with Flash integration with middleware and database • Experience with PHP or ASP • Familiarity with Object-Orientated programming • Familiarity with version control systems What are you responsible for: • Completion of development tasks within specified timelines • Develop code that adheres to coding standards • Take responsibility for the development, testing, and management of projects such as websites and emails • Work with a dynamic team of marketing and interactive leaders to create and manage world-class web-based programs • Manage multiple projects at any given time Please email your resume/portfolio with salary expectations to: info@designlab.net.
