Description
Responsibilities: You are a Web Technology department leader with a track record of building, managing and mentoring large teams. You are passionate about the web/mobile/gaming industry and technologies. The VP Technology will be responsible for informing and managing web technology teams and assignments, the deployment of interactive technical resources, serving as an ambassador for new and emerging technologies and current interactive standards, representing technical standards and their interaction with visual design and overall quality standards within the interactive department, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of technical excellence, and acting to improve effective methodology. Requirements: •7+ years of leading, managing and mentoring med-large IT development teams •Extensive experience in both front- and back- end technologies •Previous experience as a web developer, with exposure to a variety of technology packages, including those within emerging media (mobile, social networking, collaboration, etc) •A deep understanding of web development environments •Ability to contribute to the analysis of user requirements and the development and documentation of technical and design specifications including website software development (HTML / DHTML, Flash, CSS, etc.), and programming, coding and application development (NET Framework and C#, SQL, AJAX, CMS, Java Enterprise, etc.) •Present recommendations to clients and management alike in a clear and concise manner •Act as the primary point of contact for all inquiries regarding the technical knowledge domain and associated vendors and products •Build long-term client relationships reinforcing a sense of accountability and responsibility •Review and approve technology solutions presented to clients •Knowledge of servers and networking environments •Knowledge of quality assurance, testing and deployment procedures Skills: •Strong writing and presentation skills •Strong organization & project management, critical thinking and independent learning abilities •Ability to develop client relationships through excellent client-facing skills, clear communications, and technical leadership •Ability to understand business and marketing objectives •Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and be adaptable to the demands of all levels and types of production duties
