| Systems Integrator, Hamilton We are seeking an Integrator to assist in the development, deployment and maintenance of the organization’s internet infrastructure. The successful candidate will enjoy working with the following types of technology: •Microsoft technologies including Visual Studio, Windows Server and IIS; •Content management, membership, marketing, and classified systems; •Best of breed 3rd party solutions including Lyris, Community Server and Amazon cloud services. Indicators of Success: •Planning, executing, and managing the deployment of new applications and upgrades. •Ensuring that projects meet business requirements and goals and fulfill end-user requirements. •Able to identify and resolve systems issues. •Orchestrating products and strategies between business units and associated teams. •Collaborating with vendors, analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of applications to ensure quality control. •Leading integration testing phase of applications under development in order to identify and remedy potential problem areas. •Develop and document standards and processes to support projects and initiatives. •Supporting production applications as the first level support team. •Where necessary, provide guidance to junior members of the team. •Occasional evening and weekend work will be required to meet deadlines. •Occasional travel may be required. •On-call availability is required (pager rotation is shared amongst team members). In summary, this means: understand the technology coming our way, test it, document it, coordinate the implementation of it in production and support it. Key Qualifications: Requirements: •Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer science or computer engineering, and/or 3 years equivalent work experience. •2 years direct experience in enterprise-level application integration •Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems. •Technically fluent in modern programming languages and methodology. •Direct, hands-on experience with automated quality control tools. •Outstanding writing and documentation skills. •Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills.
