| The Opportunity Our client is looking for a Federal Marketing Manager to serve as the field, customer and partner advocate for the Federal Government segment. Establish and execute the marketing strategy and plan for the Federal Government segment and support other key government engagement programs. Primary Responsibilities • Responsible for assisting in achieving the subsidiary’s enterprise commercial objectives nationally and directly within the Federal Government segment. This includes national enterprise initiatives such as CPE or gaining competitive market share. • Supports EMT, BMO, EPG VLT and to a lesser extent SMS&P by contributing both the national and Federal segment specific perspective and data for other’s deeper understanding, efficacy and more relevant engagement with customers and partners. • Execute marketing programs for the commercial enterprise segment and a deep tactical plan for the Federal segment. • Develops and recommends objectives, marketing goals, strategies and tactics for the enterprise commercial segment and particularly for the Federal segment, with input and alignment with EMT and other key stakeholders. • Provides segment specific communications to the entire subsidiary and supports the sales force on relevant opportunities. • Communicate with relevant industry organizations, trade associations, and publications, as appropriate. • Control a marketing budget directly and influence the total enterprise commercial budget strategic allocation. • Consult on horizontal fully integrated customer campaigns as well as vertical scenarios • Lead regional specific marketing activities to drive both local objectives and national • Test new marketing approaches within the region • Participate in Sales Meetings, Account and Territory Reviews Key Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree from a related discipline (Business, Marketing, Computer Science) • 5-8 years of directly related experience • Must have at least 3 years of practical experience in product/brand and /or B:B marketing. • Knowledge of and/or experience marketing within the software industry, federal government or I.T. industry is required. • Capable of independently executing marketing activities from awareness to loyalty • Able to implement using a wide range of marketing mediums, including tele-sales | |||
