| The Opportunity This position leads the team that provides a single point of contact for reviewing all Business Information Management (BIM) communication requests to determine appropriate action, manage schedules and workload priorities. The Organization Our client is a leading North American financial institution. Primary Responsibilities • Assess all communication requests; prioritize to meet timelines and business needs. Identify gaps, overlaps and appropriate method /channel of communication. • Assist in responding to or assigning inquiries to BIM team members or business partner for resolution • Manage and act as focal point for information coming from BIM site. Direct feedback as needed; stay aware of turnaround times & stats. Ensure business leaders get required information. • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency across the BIM team • Manage team and perform management support activities • Understand and support tactically the company’s family of products and services • Manage and consult on communications to relationship management frontline employees • Consult with stakeholders to ensure online information accurately reflects company processes, products, services, features and offers • Analyze new content to determine impact and relationship to existing content. Identify gaps and requirements for updates/correction. Write revised information. • Keep online content current and accurate, by tracking changes and consulting with stakeholders to obtain approval to support changes. • Participate in projects or initiatives, providing technical writing expertise • Regularly review unit processes to ensure they reflect the changing needs of the business • Manage the translation process and ensure costs are managed effectively, as required • Provide project and consultative support to other areas by analyzing the impact the initiative has on documented procedures • Participate in organizational or LOB recovery efforts and develop front line communications related to emergency situations Key Qualifications • Post secondary diploma/certificate in communications, technical writing or related field • Knowledge of branch and call centre environments sufficient to ensure communication strategies and approaches are appropriate and effective • Technical expertise and web knowledge sufficient to support the online design and delivery of content in a way that is consistently effective across front-line areas • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Well-developed knowledge of PC skills • Ability to work independently and as a team member • Ability to prioritize with multiple shifting responsibilities • Exceptional time management skills • Innovative and self-motivated • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to conceptualize • Flexible and open to change | |||
